EFAFLEX: sales app with a 3D configurator and AR

The challenge

EFAFLEX sells high-speed doors in many variants through an international sales team of more than 250 people. The team had to configure doors with the customer, often in factory halls or on building sites without internet, and in several languages.

The data we used

The product and variant data of the door range (dimensions, properties, features and colours) drive the 3D configurator.

What we built

• An iPad sales app with a real-time 3D configurator for dimensions, properties, features and colours
• An AR view that puts the configured door in place, with floor detection and a live opening animation
• Configurations saved to the customer file and shared with customers and colleagues
• An offline media library with brochures, data sheets and videos, synced centrally
• Three languages, personal logins, cloud backup and remote wipe for lost devices
• A touch-screen kiosk version for trade fairs such as BAU

The result

In use from 2012 to 2025 by 250+ sales staff worldwide, in 3 languages, until EFAFLEX realigned its product catalogue.
